But experiencing boredom may actually help a person succeed, according to TED Talk speaker and podcast host Manoush Zomorodi and the scientists she’s spoken with over the years. In her 2017 TED Talk titled “How Boredom Can Lead to Your Most Brilliant Ideas,” Zomorodi explains the connection between boredom, creativity and innovation.
